Just distracted...

Not drawing anything in the past 6 months = Drawing Fail.

Not writing anything in the past 5 months = Writing Fail.

Not filming anything in the past 4 months = Filming Fail.

Working to earn money and playing videogames = Success?

Sooo I got a Wacom Tablet for Christmas!  I think I found the cure to my drawing slump; I messed around and drew this, my first all-digital pic: cyborgakadjmoose.deviantart.co… think it turned out pretty well, save for the rather obvious terribleness.  I found it easier to just keep drawing and ignore some of the mistakes I made just so I could get it done.

So yeah, I'm kind of excited about drawing now.

Why is it that real life saps the creative juices from my brain?
I think I know the key to my creativity: Boredom.  I drew all the time while I was at school, but now that I am at home with access to all my favorite activities and hobbies, it seems to disappear.
Or that I am too tired after working all day that I would rather veg out on some videogames than write or draw.

Real life sucks sometimes...

Also...Really?  My last journal entry was Jul 27th? Yeesh.

Because I actually sat down and started sketching some characters.

Are they good enough to upload?  No...

Will I actually upload some real art soon?  Maybe...

...


In other news, I wish I could summon my creative whims at any time.
