Eye Color: Pale blue and constantly glow with sinister energy.

Appearance: Void Summoner possesses a lithe and athletic physique.  A pair of horns curve down from her temples and a spiky tail grows from the end of her spine.  Stitches are visible on her face from past experiments.  She wears a lightly armored bodysuit resistant to most small ballistic weapons and wears a re-breather over her mouth.  She also wears a metal utility belt on her hips.  Her shoulders, arms, and lower legs are completely cybernetic.  Power feeds run from her spine, to her shoulders, and then to her arms; these glow blue with energy.  Her hands radiate with dark energy when she uses her powers.

Family Background: As a clone Void Summoner has no family, although it is unknown from what sources the genetic material to create her was supplied.

General Personality:  Grim, brooding, and unpredictable.  She is surprisingly selfless when it comes to the protection of innocents but she has no qualms about killing, considering her unique dietary requirements.

Skills/Abilities/Talents:

Martial Artist:  Void Summoner is a skilled martial artist, combining powerful kicks and punches with deadly ranged shuriken attacks.

Gifted Intellect:  Void Summoner possesses a highly analytical mind that can process large amounts of information in a short amount of time.

Shadow Energy Manipulation:    Void Summoner is able to harness the energy given off by the shadow entity bound within her body.  Typically this shadow energy can be used to root or hold enemies in place and drain their energy, possess enemies for a short time and turn friend against foe, or summon creatures and minions made of shadow.  If she is able to successfully drain the energy of the enemies she is fighting, Void Summoner could in theory continue fighting much longer than her opponents.

Shadow Vision:   Void Summoner is able to sense the energy or 'life force' of other beings; she is completely unaffected by circumstances that may obscure her vision when she is attempting to locate living beings.  This ability is completely useless on mechanical or inanimate objects (but cyborgs and the like would still be affected).

Dimensional Teleportation:  Void Summoner is able to create a tear in the fabric of reality and pass through the shadow entity's home dimension, exiting the tear in another location some distance from where she entered.  This teleportation is limited to an area that Void Summoner can see.  

Weaknesses:

Human Frailty:  Void Summoner still suffers harm like most humans do.  While her unnatural nature and cybernetic implants may help to increase her resilience, enough physical damage will still cause her to cease functioning.  Depending on the amount of damage to the physical body, Void Summoner may enter a death-like state or the shadow entity may dissipate entirely (see below).

Energy Consumption:   Void Summoner does not need to eat or drink as most beings do.  However, she must consume the energy of another being on a regular basis in order to survive.  Typically, Void Summoner must consume the energy of another being every 3-5 days.  This need may increase rapidly when coupled with heavy use of her powers.  If this need is not met, Void Summoner will weaken at an exponential rate; she will eventually slip into a coma and soon after enter into a death-like state.  While in this “death-sleep,” Void Summoner would appear physically dead (no pulse, no breathing, etc.) but the shadow entity bound inside her physical shell would remain for approximately a week, preserving its host until such a time as it can feed again.  If the entity is not able to feed during this time, it will dissipate and reconstitute itself in its home dimension.

History:

Next to nothing is known about the vigilante named “Void Summoner.”

A twisted marriage of mutation, cybernetics, and dark energy; Void Summoner was created by a rogue sect of scientists in an attempt to harness the energy of a creature known as Senka Nithra.  This entity is composed entirely of a form of dark energy that has yet to be identified.

Created with a body enhanced by genetics and cybernetics, Void Summoner's mind was relatively simple and obedient.  Unknown to the scientists one of the serums they had used on her began to mutate, causing mutations on her body.  Outwardly, these were manifested as a pair of horns and a tail.  But inwardly this manifested as a rapidly developing mind; she learned at a frightening pace.

When the time came for the final procedure in which the scientists would gain control over her mind, Void Summoner wasted no time in making her escape.  Infused with dark energy, she killed her captors by making them attack one another and then draining the life from their bodies.

Free from the scientists, she now seeks to use her powers for the good of Angel Falls and not for the nefarious purposes her creators had planned.  
Not everyone in Angel Falls is so eager to accept a dangerous individual with a penchant for killing her foes as opposed to arresting them. As a result, Void Summoner has been labeled a vigilante by local law enforcement agencies and is met with mixed feelings by the general public. She tends to do most of her work at night in Greenbank, rooting out dens of criminal activity. It is quite common for random criminal thugs to go missing at night, only to show up dead in the morning.
